The beginnings of a masterpiece.....

I'm letting Boo paint over one of my old paintings. The canvas is a foot taller than she is! The plan is to work on it in stages and in multiple mediums, so stay tuned for the finished piece in a few weeks. This is serious art.

    You are a fun mom! I let my kids do that once...in the garage. You are so brave to let her have at it in your foyer. I can't wait to see what she creates :)

    Ooh can't wait to see the finished product! I've seen something similar done by a 3 year old...it ended up looking like something you'd see in an Art Gallery! Such a creative idea and a great way to boost your daughter's self-esteem :)

    Ashley - now that I'm following you on FaceBook I see the volume of things you are producing and it is amazing. You are a truly talented artist full of wonderful ideas! You are such an inspiration to me. I would love to branch out and start silkscreening as well. I just ordered a Dharma Trading catalog and I'm looking forward to trying some of their transfers as well as the clothing blanks. Your daughter is so lucky to have her own personal art instructor! I hope to be such an inspiration to my own daugther.

    have you ever seen the movie "my kid could paint that?" I'm sure you'd enjoy it from an artist's and painter's perspective. It's a bit "controversial" at times but a very interesting discussion.
