I love collecting.... buttons, stamps, vintage paper, fabric, ribbons, charms, trinkets, orphaned photos.... anything and everything, the older the better. I started collecting various stones, rocks and shells a few years ago to mark each place I visited. I write the name and date on the object and place them in a display cabinet. I can't wait until Sienna is old enough to understand and we can search together for the perfect pebble on each trip we take.
I love my little growing pile of memories....and they are eye candy on an otherwise boring glass armoire shelf.

ReplyDeleteYep! Just using a Sharpie...seems to be holding up pretty well. I was thinking about Finley when I wrote this post! I loved how excited she was showing me her lavender sparkle dinosaur rock the other day at Costco....

Aww, love the dedication to my little monkey :) she would be very proud. Today at the living desert we brought home 2 more sticks and 1 rock. need to label them :)
