"The master is impressed with [her] grasshopper"

...okay that was my friend's Lisa's quote, but have you ever tried to do something nice and encourage someone into a hobby or skill and then quickly see yourself left in the dust?! I kept telling Lisa that she should get a sewing machine and that she should learn to sew. She is SO creative with her ElleBows line....I knew she would pick it up immediately. Little did I know that she would start whipping this kind of stuff out!

For every outfit she makes her daughter, she makes a cute little matching ElleBow. I'm sending her some fabric so Sienna will have matching bows for all HER new outfits too! Disclaimer: This is NOT your typical beginner sewing....

Lisa is so incredibly talented....I should have seen this coming. If you don't follow her ElleBows blog you are missing out. She blogs about her latest sewing projects (argh), favorite tutorials and tons of other goodies! She is constantly whipping out the cutest things....I am in love with these Pink Pirate Party Favors she made for a custom order:

Make sure to check out her ElleBows Etsy Shop! ElleBows is a Lil Blue Boo sponsor too!

Ashley - you are such an inspiration! Truly! You encouraged me to start sewing and i will forever be grateful. I'm having so much fun and it feels so good to see Elle wearing something i made with my own hands!

  3. Ok...girls...this is where I throw up! BOTH of you have raised the creative bar so high, that I am left feeling inferior. It was bad enough that super models gave me a weight complex BUT now I have a creative complex, thanks to you two!!

SO, excuse me while I add to my complexes (I hope there's a pill for this one)!

You BOTH rock and in all seriousness, my creative bar needed raising. I can't wait to "try" out all your tutorials, I feel like I am in school again (even if the short bus is picking me up)!

    XOXO
