My Job Chart is best suited for children ages 5 and up. I signed up for my free account and have already set up chores for my husband since my daughter isn't quite old enough for the computer ;-) Hey, we adults need motivating sometimes too! You can sign up for your free account at the My Job Chart website here. Each parent and child can have their own login. You set up the chores, assign the point value, and then the kids can save, spend or share their rewards if you place a monetary value on the points. There is even an option to share their rewards with charity.

I wonder if we can set it up to give no rewards, but just track their progress? I've read several studies that show that as soon as you provide a reward for something, the intrinsic satisfaction of doing the job is destroyed. Even for fun activities, giving a reward makes kids less likely to do it in the future.
