Also, I am now offering limited production licenses for my patterns if you wish to sell your handmade items online. I don't require a license for under 5 items. Each license entitles the "home sewer" to sell handmade items made with my patterns. One license must be purchased for each person making and selling the handmade item but does not require renewal. Factory-type large scale production or outsourced sewing help is strictly prohibited. Design credit must be given to Ashley Hackshaw (of Lil Blue Boo or www.lilblueboo.com) when selling or listing items for sale.
Please email me for a license if interested. Each license is $20 and bundle discounts can be given for multiple pattern licenses.
I've had a ton of questions on this so just be sure to read my copyright info on Etsy.
Thanks for understanding!
Wow, the patterns look really great all bound up. You must have spent a lot of time figuring all this stuff out. Great job and keep up the hard work!! (I really love your blog so keep that up too)

ReplyDeleteThe pricing is tiered so that the home sewer that does NOT want to sell from my patterns does not have to pay for the ones who do.....otherwise the pattern would be a higher price point. If you search the internet for "cottage license" you will find that it is very common for ebook authors to offer licenses. I guess you haven't purchased a pattern from me though because it doesn't look anything like a commercial pattern. Thanks for the comment though.
