I LOVE making handmade birthday presents for my friends. And I LOVE receiving them too ;) I couldn't wait another second to share these handmade gifts that Sienna received for her birthday on Thursday...they are so special...and might just give you a few ideas too!
Emily and her daughter Abby made these beautiful frayed quilt letters as a present topper:
Note: Emily used this tutorial from Jessica at Happy Together.
Lisa and her daughter Elle made this adorable Dubble Bubble dress:
The fabric combo is SO yummy:
Shari and her daughter Finley made this amazing "super hero" backpack (Finley also made a special little card complete with ONE googly eye that she was extra proud of):
Note: Here is the pattern that Shari used for the backpack.
Tags labeled "Super Sienna" and "Hero Pack":
I love the fabulous fabrics she used:
Open up the pack and out comes this adorable monkey doll!
Note: Thank you Melanie for Larissa's link: get the Molly Monkey pattern here or in her store! So cute!
Wearing a Heather Bailey fabric skirt and a necklace saying "Zap" and "Pow":
Tiny felt shoes:
Out of the pack also comes a super hero cape......
......and matching super hero crown and cuffs too!
But there's more! Even the monkey has her own matching crown, cape and cuffs too!
Seriously, you guys are too much. We will treasure these forever! XOXO
oh my word that stuff is all so adorable! Aren't you so excited to see what Sienna grows up to make surrounded by all these creative people?

ReplyDeleteHoly Moley! You have friends as creative and talented as you are!
ReplyDeleteThose are some amazingly thoughtful gifts! I wish more people gave like that, but not everyone has the inclination or talent. ;)
ReplyDeleteThat monkey has been on my list for awhile now. Missed out on making it for the kids for Christmas, but definitely doing it sometime this year. She put out a boy version (the Mikey Monkey) that is just as adorable!
I love handmade gifts and these are some great ones! Sienna is a lucky girl to have so many talented people in her life. Super-Hero capes and crowns are my favorite gifts to make for toddlers - I love how the capes transform little ones - pretend play is the best!!
