"Wannabe" Beanbags

Look a little familiar? (click here if they aren't)  Sienna wanted tiny beanbags for her doll too so we spent yesterday afternoon making these itsy-bitsy, teeny-weeny "barley" bags. We aren't creative enough to come up with a name besides "b-a-b-y" yet.......


These were SO much harder than the original large beanbags. Look how tiny the squares are! The most frustrating part was getting them turned right side out after sewing them. 


Only two or three pinto beans would have fit in these tiny bags, so we used pearl barley instead....and made a "funnel" out of a straw. (Sienna got into some of my blue paint before hand.....)


"Baby" and her new little "baby" beanbags..... just the right size.


I love miniaturized things.....

    Those are SO cute and tiny! Avery calls her doll "baby" too. :) The large beanbags were already on my list of things to do...now I'm going to have to add the tiny ones too. Thanks for sharing.

    How cute!!! Girls and their dolls. I was shopping with Taylor (3) this morning and she wanted some running shoes, when I told her they were too small for her, she said "But my babies need shoes, they don't have any shoes yet"...

    I'm brand-spankin'-new to your blog, and I like what I see! I share your love of miniature things, and I'm so impressed by the idea of mini bean bags for the doll. I think that even my ten-year-old will appreciate that.

    Yah tiny things are adorable always! These are hard yes, I have tried to create some tiny things in the past and wow .. they are harder make.. so much harder!
