My Biggest Critic

Every once in a while something I make is a "homerun" with my daughter (although it is very rare occurrence). It will be a sad day when Sienna outgrows the recycled t-shirt skirt and matching top I made a few months ago. We only have about 1 1/2 seasons here in the desert, so it could be a year-round outfit if she would stop growing.

And please don't report me to CPS because of all the bandaids. There was a little incident with a bag of popcorn at Target yesterday. The bandaid on the arm is from her flu shot today. How cute are the shiny new "skater" shoes? $12.99 at Target.

  1. She's adorable...bandaids and all!! My son wants bandaids all over, whether he hurts himself or not...so at least she has a "reason" for hers!

    Love her recycled outfit!

  2. She's so cute! I understand about the bandaids. When my boys hurt themselves, they get one bandaid. Then the other one wants one because his brother had one. Sometimes there is nothing hurt at all and they have the bandaids. lol

  4. She's so cute. Hmmm...did she happen to trip while carrying a bag of popcorn? That happened to Ava once.

  9. Beautiful girl! Great outfit! Cool bandaids!

I know that one day my daughter is going to turn to me and say, "I want store bought clothes mom, no handmade stuff please." I will have to find other smalls to dress then.

  10. Her recycled outfit is adorable. I must admit it is also one of my favorite tutorials you have done so far.
