Mid-Week Gallery Share

I usually do my gallery sharing on Saturday, but that seems so far away....so here it is mid-week! Maybe one of these will spark some creativity for the LBB/Dharma Trading Design Challenge!

I can't believe I haven't shared the dress below before....I finally contacted Toni Hamel and asked her to send me a photo. Here is a dress she made using my Sienna Dress Pattern when she tested it for You Can Make This. She designed/silkscreened the super fleur de lis herself! Crazy amazing.....I want this dress!


Below is one of Sienna's favorites...an oldie but a goodie. Probably the last season she'll be able to wear it. I made it from a men's size 5X Run DMC shirt I saw at Marshall's for $3. It was the biggest t-shirt I'd ever seen. Funny, she has never even heard of Run DMC....


I'm making leggings now for my dresses in my Etsy store. I have one pair in the shop right now and a bunch more cut out for sewing....but here is a sample:


I finally got Sienna out of her Christmas dress! We got this upcycled dress in the mail from DressMe (it took a while since it is from overseas)......and she is in LOVE with it. I finally gave in for Christmas and bought her something made by someone else! It is actually a tunic but I bought it 2 sizes too big so she could wear it as a dress for a while.


I love how the Dress Me clothes are a mix of knits and regular cotton woven fabric. The ribbon drawstring neck is the perfect addition. (The Little Missmatched knee socks were a gift from Sienna's godparents.)

    I got my 5 y/o Miss Matched socks for Christmas. They are her favorite!

    Oh my gosh I love that dress with the rainbow sleeves and fluer de lis print on top. Can you find out what fabric that is (the rainbow fleur de lis)? I had a cloth diaper made with it and loved the print then, though not as much as on that dress!

    I think we're getting the little one a lil blue boo dress and leggings for her birthday in April. Going to favorite some of the things in your shop now!

    Ashley! These are so cute . I make leggings and the are such a great addition to any outfit! Great Idea and they are so practical too! Mine love them too!

    Great idea wearing it as a dress. When my girls grow out of their dresses, I use them as cute tops over leggings or pants. Tank dresses are great for that and make great shirts.
